    Thanks Hounddog, very interesting to hear Elvis' thoughts on touring again. There are pictures of the first interview in the '68 Comeback Gallery.

    Thanks for sharing, it was really interesting...Both Elvis' vision on performing again, on his audience, and the colonel talking in the beginning...great find!

    I liked the part where he admitted how petrified he was before the live show. He wasn't afraid to tell his true feelings to the world. These words made me feel closer to him, as a human being. Thank you for the article, hounddog!

    My pleasure, i have another transcript of an interview in 1969 i think, and i also have a recount of converstations that a reporter had with Elvis i'll find them and post them as well.
