have been very lucky since 1997. We met Scotty Moore backstage 1n 2004 here in Dublin Ireland and received correspodence from some of the girls who starred with Elvis...especially Dolores Hart. We actually won a trip to Memphs back in 1997 on an Irish radio show commemorating the 20th Anniversary of Elvis's death. A radio Documentary was made of our trip.

He showed me pics from the stage and so on... I like the music, too and went to a concert from Ron Wood in London, where as guest Mick Jagger came onto the stage, it was crazy and strange!!
This year the stones will tour trough germany and he?ll stay in the first row in every concert

I've liked Elvis ever since I was 5/6 years old and I seem to attact Elvis fans. Once, I went to Tupelo and I went into Claire's to get my ears peirced, the girl who peirced them was the same age as I was and was an Elvis fan. She told me that when she was four she sworn that she was going to marry Elvis when she grew up.

I just found this forum but I already like it. It is great to see more than a thousand Elvis' fans together in one place.

A little info about myself:

I'm 24 years old and 10 of them I'm an Elvis fan since I bought my first Elvis' record. I remember that day very well. It was a day of february 1996 (I even remember date: it was february 24th ) when I walked in a music store to buy some new records. I was a little boy who was interested in usual popular teenage music (disco, techno, other easy listen rubbish, you know) and got a little money to buy a new album of a band which name I just don't remember today. I don't know what made me buy a cassete with 18 classic Elvis' soundtrack songs. The sound quality of that record was the baddest of the bad and at some tracks I didn't hear nothing but noise and crash, but since that day I became another man. I threw away all that music trash I listenet to before. Elvis taught me to listen and hear to the REAL MUSIC. Now I think that I did't hear anything before I heard Elvis. Much more: I think, I didn't have ears before I heard Elvis

I still have that cassete. It takes the greatest place among my Elvis' CD's LP's

It happened to me too and I can't find now another performer who can give me the same feelings I have when I listen Elvis...he's unique!!

Unlike everyone here I didn't grow up on Elvis. I grew up on Neil Diamond. (Shut it Toya ) I was dragged kicking and screaming into being a fan by Awickedreigndrop herself. I had no choice, after all I heard about him all the time. She made me watch his movies and listen to his songs and at first I didn't get it. But then like moss he grew on me. lol And now Mr. Presley has a fan in me. Yes I've been worn down.
