Hello from New York City!

I am professional guitar player who would like to play with some ETA's in the USA. I have the correct guitar gear and play both Scotty Moore & James Burton's parts note-for-note.

Music is my passion and I love lots of different music. In the rockabilly world, I had the honor of meeting Carl Perkins in 1993 in New York. He signed my Fender Telecaster and I still play it for shows (though it is not period correct for tribute shows).

took ages finding a forum with traffic like this one...something like 4th or 5th page of google results....i was giving up on a worthwhile elvis forum....why so hidden away ?

i'm a 'noob' here, hopefully i dont get much stick for that ...long long lifetime elvis follower and really am looking forward to asking some questions i have got and sitting back and reading some of the discussions here.

besides elvis, other passions or followings i have are the who, a welsh band called the alarm, paul rodgers, steve marriott, singer called danny vaughn, english band 'cast', irish band 'kila', an irish band called 'indian' {who did a great song paying tribute to elvis, their own song too} and, not music, boxing history....and anything to do with the film 'sin city' or classic film noir.

...so, thats me

anyone on facebook, i'd like to have other elvis fans on their to chat with...pm me.

are there other forums i should know about, or is that not cool to ask here ?

one of the other bands i mentioned....welsh band 'the alarm'...they also did an elvis themed song....funny how bands i follow also like elvis....anyway, i threw a little video together with the song a while back, a very amatuer effort this...but, here it is...
