I just thought it was intersting as she talks about dance lessons. She did when she was on the talk show talking about being on Dancing with the Stars. I find the interveiw strange. Does anyone else.
whats so strange about it??
Only one thing stood out to me that reinforces my feelings about the whole affair. When she says that her dad was against her going out with Elvis because he was much older but that her mom thought it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.....and so she did meet him....and the rest is history.

It's just things I've heard both her and Elvis say. Can't say I thought it was strange though. For what's it worth..I agree with her about marriage .
NOW, if I could get my daughter to see that .![]()

In a few days I am posting my pics of her dress shop. It's funny, but one window has a long row with the cover of this issue of Ladies Home Journal. It's her pic...over and over and over. I guess she wanted to make sure that everyone would know for sure who owned the shop..there were no pics of Olivia Bis.![]()
she said the same thing on elvis by the presleys and priscilla mother said that she was against elvis till she met him.
"But Mom and Dad said I was too young to date Elvis," she said. "Well, I didn't think it made much difference anyway because I figured that I would never see him again. Then he called, and I couldn't h been more surprised."
Captain Beaulieu said there would be no date. "But Mom talked him into letting me go." Priscilla smiled. "She said I might never get a chance like this again."

That stood out with me too Diane-opportunity! She was only how old???
she is trying to be oh so innocent in the interview. I can understand her wanting to protect the truth about her and Elvis' relationship though - Elvis was still alive when she did that article so I'm sure that had alot to do with it.
I don't know - I just didn't really care for what she had to say - probably because so much more has come out in the open since then........???
I do understand her not wanting to talk about Elvis though.
She was only 14 Missy........
I'm anxious to see your photos Rosanne. I've only seen what everyone else has that's posted in the gallery here.

Oh Jen, love you sweet but she has said things in interviews and wrote a whole book about Elvis' private life!
Diane
It can take on a different meaning by the words ones choose to use.
I womder how many girls wouldn't throw a fit, if Elvis had asked them out....no matter their sge??
Had a sister-in-law that was about 15 YO {when Love Me Tender came out} and I know she'd have went. With or without her parents permission.
I just couldn't see what she saw in him at that time.![]()

The way I look at it is when she shuts up and quits talking about Elvis then I'll quit talking about her. Maybe others would follow.
