    Age Glady Died?

    Does anybody know what age when Glady died?..I keep readin different story's that she died the same age as Elvis which is 42 but there other sayin that she died at 46? It kinda wierd if Elvis died the same age as his mother..Didnt they die the same month?..

    I think she was 44 or 46. I know she lied about her age cause she was older than Vernon. So like Elvis she liked them youngters...lol

    she Was 46, for long time they think she was 42, after Vernon die they found brith cef. for Galdy in Vernon Office.

    Gladys was born April 25th in 1912, she was 46 when she died.

    Sorry if this isn`t exactly related to the question but......It was very common for people to lie about their ages back then..and get away with it......I came across the same thing with my own mother and it got pretty confusing for a while!

    it's not hard to get confused because if you read Elvis books, they say different ages for Gladys - some say 42 (Perpetuating the myth of them dying at same age) and others say 46 - which is her real age at death.

    For along time, many people said she was 42, same age as Elvis was when he died. This is obviously false. She was indeed 46.

    I seem to remember reading that when Vernon and Gladys went to get their marriage license they listed Vernon as being older and Gladys as being younger -- by four years. And that made me wonder that if that was true, if she always went by that age -- even to Elvis, since he reportedly had said that his mother died at 42 and he wouldn't live longer than her.

    She was born in April 25, 1912 and she died in August 14, 1958.

    She was 46yrs old when she passed away in 1958

    46, April 25, 1912-Auguat 14, 1958. She would only admit to an age of 42, however.
