Elvis Driving.

When did Elvis pass his test, and take it ? It's always intrigued me. Did he pass his Driving test first time ? And did he take a motorcycle test ? I understand he had motorcycles.
If anyone can tell me i would be more that grateful

The only thing I know is that he took his driver's license test in 1951 using his uncle Travis Smith's 1940 Buick.

i've also read that he used to drive the car Vernon drove when they lived in Tupelo. Liek most country kids they drive from a very young age.

From all accounts, he was an excellent driver. He could also drive any vehicle, car, motorcyle, bus, transport truck, tractors, you name it, he could drive it!

i remember reading that Vernon let Elvis drive as a small child & when the neighbors saw a car roving about without a driver they knew Elvis was at the wheel!
