Very fitting and thank you .![]()
Since this is a National Holiday for a very important American hero and activist, I thought I would start a peaceful thread with these wonderful videos.
Enjoy and keep hope and the dream alive!

"I have learned never to ridicule any man's opinion, however strange it may seem."
Very nice Jay, thanks! I know Elvis admired MLK greatly and was very saddened when he was killed.
Thanks EP75 for those links.
The audio mix on the first link - Martin Luther King's speech and Elvis' If I Can Dream was mixed by a friend of mine, RobIreland.
A truely brilliant mix, dedicated to 2 inspirational and positive people.
Best Wishes for MLK Day
Great stuff Jay thanks alot for posting.
You guys are all welcome. I figured since this was King Day that it would be appropriate to do a thread about it.
OFF TOPIC but something I want to share for a second. Me and my girlfriend Anna went to the public park today and as an interracial couple in Alabama no one was starring or giving us bad looks. 40 years ago we could not have done that without being beaten up or arrested for breaking southern laws. It felt great and shows we are coming together little by little.![]()

Thanks for posting these videos EP75 and thank you Marija for making the first one. It was my favourite. Seeing this great man and at the same time listening to Elvis's voice singing "If I can dream", well, it brought tears in my eyes...
Goodbye Rosanne...Your "family" in TCB will always remember you.
It`s a nice reminder of how much difference one man can make in this world and that despite all the bad things that we see and experience in this world there are a lot of great and wonderful things as well.
I've never understood racism/segregation.
No matter how much I've read . It always seemed to come from people I never wanted to know either .
Except my granny ...and we argued a lot !!
MLK was a great man . He did a lot for our country.
As did Elvis; he just came with his own message .![]()
