    Couple of Questions....

Is it ok to post private messages in a thread?

Is it ok to post IP info in threads?

    How about screencaps?

I've looked in rules and no mention is made of any of the above and am curious what the stand is on that?

Don't have the slightest idea-maybe a moderator could answer that.
Personally I think if I Private Message someone I would at least want to be asked permission since it was a pm. I also would think the IP info may be something you might ask the person involved if its okay. (unless you suspect someone is using the same IP under different names then you might talk to a MOD about it I would think) Just my opinion.

I don't think it is allowed to post private messages in threads but I agree with KPM. You should probably ask a Moderator.

IF it is allowed to post personal info; I strongly disagree.
Let the mods. take care of it or go to JJ's thread .

    .

As has been my experience with one particular poster who shall remain nameless, if someone says something negative about you in a public post (or they are contradicting what they said to you in a PM) and the PM you received from them contradicts what they say publicly ... then I say, post the PM and expose them!

Private Messages are just that: private. However, if they include strong violations (like threats) they should be forwarded to moderators so that we can take action.

Posting personal information about members, like home adresses, telephone number, emailadres (unasked) or even IP's is not allowed without the approval of the concering member.

Our Code of Conduct was written some time ago, when several issues and violation hadn't occured yet. So that's why we change and add rules to it every now and then. When we do so, we force all members to re-aknowledge them again.

I learned that the hard way, by getting a warning () that I severly dislike, especially since I don't see anywhere in the code of conduct any rule that I violated (this could be one, but it's just so darn fuzzy (7. Do not post links to websites that violate our Code of Conduct.), especially when I posted an image I got from another website).

But I'm sure glad to finally see two golden rules, "1. Please do not deface the board with multiple posts containing exactly the same message.", sorry about being so frank, but about friggin' time ...and then this one: "17. You may only create one account for yourself as an individual, please do not use several user identities.", I sure hope our ip's are being watched closely

Yes that one I like also-I do not mind debating with one person-but if they have multiple user ID's that is dishonest. Ran into that a few years back at another site-one person with 3 separate IDs who would all "agree with each other" When one got banned-the other IDs still gave them access. You can tell if you watch posts long enough people forget they have said some things exactly the same as someone else months before and then post it again under a new ID. Dishonest.

Suzan, you can post anything no matter if it violates the rules or not.

You do anyway and you're still here harrasin and annoyin folks.

You're obviously an exception to the rule and it shows.

I now see that very clearly.

Hate to burst your bubble but I have never harrassed you, never have, never will.

And since when is it ok for you to drag up the race card, but not for a white man to reverse it and poke fun at it? Geez... political correctness in the US

And once again I ask you, where has it been established that the image (displaying the same ip's used for user "Lakeisha" and "EP75") I posted - mind you, I had nothing to do with it except find it through a post that DrJohnCarpenter on the FECC forum posted, whose link I've posted - is a fake??

No just asking about pm's and screencaps. No personal info...
I did send to both you and the other admins. 5 pm's from an individual who is still harrassing and slandering (in this thread alone)...they broke EVERY rule iin those pm's...yet I see no reprecussions.
