wow beauiful horses, thank you so much for sharing.
Lisa in the 80's on her visits would ride the horses (per one of the employees @ Graceland back then) but nowadays I don't know if anyone rides them...I'm thinking they get ridden for excercise, etc...
Thank you Bobbi so very much for these beautiful photos.![]()

I'm sure the owner is quite relieved and happy that he'll be in such good hands and in such beautiful surroundings though I'm sure it's not easy to let him go.
beautiful pics. I'm glad the horses are so happy there.
It's hard NOT to imagine Elvis as perfect; how else could someone be THAT good looking, THAT talented, THAT generous & THAT charismatic
Thank you for the beautiful pics of Max.
Do you know if he's related with Rising Sun or another one of Elvis' horses?

Thank you so much for the info and the pictures Bobbie
Ok, thank you Bobbie, have a good day too!
IMO, I think bringin these abandoned and unwanted animals to Graceland to be given love and attention is special.
As for do they get ridden, I don't think the public is allowed to. Probably because if someone got hurt, they could sue EPE.
But, I think they should let folks ride them around the farm area at Graceland, as long as the person ridin signs a commitment not to sue if they fall off or get hurt. I would love to ride one.
If they did do this, imagine how many folks would go to Graceland, just to ride the horses.
They could even lie about it and say they were Elvis'. They're good at doin that, lol.
I'm an ardent animal lover and I think it's fantastic that they take in these horses and give them a great home at Graceland. I don't like the glue factories myself. As far as letting the public ride them...bad idea! If they don't ride them, I'm sure whoever is in charge of them gives them regular exercise and that they have good runs on their own.

Since l love horses and animals, graceland saving those horses was a wonderful idea. I would like to ride them myself on the grounds, but thats what dreaming is all about..
