Poor guy...I wonder whose head it was they were working on when he thought it was Elvis' head?? Maybe poor Dan wandered into the wrong room...

Well, speaking with Mr. Daniel D. Warlick on the phone, he all in all said what you can read in the book, and that is: Elvis was a very hard drug addict, that to some point had a part in his death, but what really shut down his body on august 16 was his lower intestinal system that was 'clogged and distended with chalky-white hardened fecal material'. His bowel was twisted, and he had a lot of pain when defecating. In the bathroom that morning he tried so hard to take a dump, that the blood-pressure in his belly increased dramatically. The pressure in his belly rose higher than his blood pressure, that meant he couldnt pump blood, and boooum! He had a serious heart-attack that only left him few second to throw his book over on the counter, fall over from the commode and crawl a few steps before dying. Thats what happened according to Daniel Warlick, and actually I believe him. Read the book. It doesnt give to the final evidence or explanation, but it gets close. At least it will leave with no doubt, that Elvis was a drug addict. Best regards, Martin

this twisting was due to a "congential ganglionic fold" he was born with it.
They also come to the conclusion that he had a violent heart attack from the lab work and the evidence they reviewed.

In 1994, the autopsy into Presley's death was re-opened. Coroner Dr. Joseph Davis declared: "There is nothing in any of the data that supports a death from drugs [i.e. drug overdose]. In fact, everything points to a sudden, violent heart attack." However, there is little doubt that long-term drug misuse caused his premature death.

Have you read "Down At The End of Lonely Street"? The last part of that book also talks about the autopsy review and the conclusion that it was a fast, violent heart attack.
