All us "older" people's dream that's for sure!![]()
I always bring along my disc carrier to play Elvis songs on a trip even as short as a half hour. My car has great speakers.

That would be my pick. I've always thought it could have been written for Elvis.How about PIECES OF MY LIFE???
I like Long Black Limousine, too.
I'll give you three songs;
1. In the Gheto,
2. Memories,
3. Polk Salad Annie.
Goodbye Rosanne...Your "family" in TCB will always remember you.
I do too Diane, and I love to blast it!Much louder than if someone were in the car with me.
I think as far as a pure visual effect goes I would also go along with "Kentucky Rain". I like it, it's not my favorite, but it is so easy to visualize what he is singing about. I can just see the man who's memory wasn't clear...sometimes my memory isn't clear either.

Yes I love that one too Rosanne...for the same reason. So many of Elvis' songs have a hint of humor or a very sentimental meaning.

"When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was a hero in the movie. So every dream that I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times. I learned very early in life that without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend; without a song. So I keep singing a song." - Elvis Presley
