That is part of the story-the other part is hidden in the genes of each individual. As I have pointed out before every year more and more illnesses, (physical and mental)-are shown to have links to genes in each family-passed on to each succeeding generation. The Presley family are not any different than any other-their genes carry the good and the bad which has an affect on their health. I have also pointed out the many diseases which have proven to have a gene connection from one generation to another. On many medical forms you area asked if anyone in your family has ever had heart disease, cancer, diabetes, mental health issues etc... because they run in families. Maybe in another 20 years doctors will be able to take a drop of blood from anyone and tell them what their health concerns will be.

As many of my {older } friends and I have discussed ..who would have ever thought the Elvis phenomana would go on so long?
I guess it will last as long as it's meant to. IMO, he will always be a part of music history.
    I don't think I'll be around for 20 or 30 more years either .
Not sure I'd even want to .There will always be others to take my place.

I wonder how Graceland will be seen 50 years from now. People in his generation will be gone by then. Times change, people change. Will Graceland still hold such a fascination to people then? Right now young fans have learned from their parents/family, etc.

When Elvis died all of my friends and family said "take care of all your things, someday they will be worth alot of money." I just couldn't imagine that, but as it turned out they were right. Even little things I have are worth a good bit. I saw an "International Hotel" ashtray sell for almost $50 last month on Ebay....I have several of those. Who could imagine that an ashtray would bring that much money???
