    A Tickle Me Moment

I thought some of you might find this somewhat amusing.I know I did.A friend of mine pointed this out to me.Watch the scene in Tickle Me where Elvis and an attractive young lady are sitting on a log.Elvis is singing Such An Easy Question. It's the second song in the film I think and is early on.As the song is finishing you will see Elvis' arm slowly drop behind the girl's back.Keep a close eye on the girl and watch her body language.I bet nobody has noticed before what Elvis did.I found it quite funny and it proves once again it's good to be the king.

There is an interview with Edward Faulkner in the latest Man and the Music. He played the swim instructor in the film.He really enjoyed working with Elvis and says what a good guy he was. From what he said Elvis had lots of fun making the film.I know it's not a masterpiece but I've always had a soft spot for this film.

Jak, are you sure the soft spot you have is not for the leading lady???? I've heard a lot of comments from different men on her who think she was pretty fabulous.

That may have a teeny bit to do with it.Joceyln Lane was a stunning woman to be sure. She seemed kinda cold though.Dont forget the girl dancing with Elvis during Dirty Dirty Feeling either!Actually I have always thought this film was kinda funny.I know it's not one of his best but I just get a kick out of it.One of my guilty pleasures I guess. In case you didnt know it,the lady who owned the ranch was Julie Adams. She was the girl from The Creature From The Black Lagoon.

    You are very welcome hehe

    - just seen it!!! Elvis sure was a funny guy. I'm glad that he had fun during the making of the movie

Lol Jak, I knew it! Yup, I remember Julie Adams. I remember seeing her in some old western too.

I myself frankly never noticed how cute Jocelyn Lane was, my attention was all on Elvis.

I think I noticed her the first time I ever saw that movie.I guess it's one of those "guy" things.

I agree, I also have a soft spot for the film. Written by 3 Stooges writers, Elwood and Bernds, it is full of Stooge type gags. Its just fun to me. Not everything has to be a masterpiece to entertain in some way. I mean it use to be it was okay to have films that did nothing more than let you forget your problems and troubles for 90 minutes. Glad he had fun making it.
