I have heard something of the same - which I think is very tacky of Nic Cage to do. I know he's an Elvis fan - but nobody is allowed up there except Lisa. Creep.
Heard a rumour that when Lisa marie was with nicholas Cage he took pics of the upstairs and they are on the web!
i know there is pics of upstairs on linky dinky and in a new book that has been releaed? what do u think ladies and gentle men!
this is what i heard off linky dinky
Actor Nicholas Cage, a lifelong Elvis fanatic, managed the impossible by using the unique approach of marrying Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis' daughter. His secret visit took place during the week of the 25th Anniversary of Elvis' death, at which time it is said he sat on the King's "throne", assumed the prone posture in which Elvis died, laid on the singer's bed and tried on a leather jacket.
Many celebrities have requested private tours but all have been declined. Even President Clinton was refused.

I'd say it's a rumor. I will not believe that Lisa would allow her father to be disrespected in that way. There will always be these rumors. Unless Nick or Lisa admit it, it has no substance cause it sounds like they were the only two people who were there and could validate the occurance.
I heard the same thing, but l don't think the pictures off linky dinky are from nick, but taken by Linda's friend. Lisa says that theres not a hint of any elvis stuff in his place which you would think there would be since people say he's a big fan of elvis.
This is partly true.
Yes, Nic was upstairs with Lisa, on the 25th anniversary, watching the Candlelight Vigil through one of the windows.
Yes, Lisa allowed Nic to try on one of Elvis' jackets and lay on the bed.
The rest is bogus.
Nic is a huge Elvis fan, and he would not disrespect Elvis' memory in any tacky way.
Getlo - cute'n'cuddly

I should think not!

Actually, friends...I'm going to confide in you some inside information here. Lisa's finding out about this is what led to the demise of that relationship:

That was a ridiculous video and not at all flattering to Elvis for sure. What did Nick have to do with this video Lonnie, did I miss something?
Diane
Nic was Tiny E!

Thank you Lonnie, lol he was so tiny I didn't recognize him.Very tacky for sure!
Diane
Thanks for sharing Lonnie, but were they taking the mick ? Because if he is such a good fan, then why would he do something like this ? Like people have said, tacky![]()
Not IMO. I don't really find it notably disrespectful to Elvis. To me this is just a mild caricature that is not mean-spirited or that unflattering.
But I do wonder what Lisa might have thought of it, if she knew about it...because of it being Nic.
I remember seeing this in the early nineties (long before their hookup) when it first aired on Saturday Night Live. It struck me as hilarious, particularly in the way the sycophantic comments kept spewing from the guys...
"That's a good one, E!"
"Aw, that was hilarious, Elvis!"
I've got nothing against those guys (and it's kind of funny that in this skit they were actually called Sonny and Red...no mistaking who they're portraying) but I get a chuckle out of this because it's exaggerated but it's basically accurate.
Beyond that, just the absurdity of the overall premise made it hysterical to me...Tiny Elvis, to whom everything is HUUUUGE. "Man, that is a huge whatever." Funny.
...you won't forget me when I go.
Ahh i see Lonnie, thank you !
Pretty darn sick

It would be funny if it hadn't been Nick who made this video seeing as he was dating Lisa at the time. It actually did make the Wests look more ridiculous than the tiny Elvis and I'm afraid not too too much exaggerated. Not that they were all that "duh" types but that they laughed whenever they thought Elvis wanted them to....like someone said Charlie was.....sycophants at times.
Diane
No, this was many years before he was dating Lisa.
