A Cyberspace Elvis?.....Yall gotta see this!

My best friend, Ebony sent this to me today and it's hella cool!

It's a new search engine, in virtual reality. The first thing I thought about was a virtual cyberspace Elvis, lol.

I hope they do somethin like this with the new modern day technology they're plannin to use in the near future at Graceland, somethin like this with Elvis talkin to us today, for folks like me who wasn't around when he lived....that'd be crazy cool!

It'd be like he was still here!

It'd be so cool if they did somethin where you can ask him a question, and he'd actually answers it.

They could have it where he talks about 911, Bush, and current world events.

    Yall gotta see this!

Well that was fun Lakeisha...beautiful lady trying to keep her cool then losing it and back again.

Kind of like the idea of a virtual reality Elvis roaming around Graceland, then again I don't and I can't say why???

    You must be joking.

Having "Elvis" talking about 21st century events at the push of a button is tacky, tasteless and just plain dumb.

Is this the sort of thing you'd really like to see happen with the proposed changes to Graceland, EP75?

I mean, come on ... really?

    Elvis cannot answer these questions.
    He is dead.
    RIP
It would never be "him" you know...

Hey don't give bad ideas to EPE! It would be so creepy to have a virtual "Elvis"...plus it would not be him, it would just be a creepy program repeating what the programers thought, and no matter how hard they try, they can't know Elvis' reactions.

The electronic head isn't all that different from that website - and in my opinion neither is all bad; however the website will never catch on (too slow and annoying when no search is going on) nor the talking head, as it doesn't look like Elvis; but at least that's at least something new and different

Nothing more left to be said. Agree completely.
"How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977

it would be even scarry that EPE would dictate what he should answer.

We are going to want him answering questions and he will answer things EPE wants him to answer...

Would not be fair to him IMO

No, I'm not jokin. I'm for real and think it would be cool to see a virtual Elvis, like on the link I posted.

IMO, there's nothin tacky, tasteless or dumb about havin a virtual Elvis talkin about modern day events, especially with the technology available to make it happen.

Disney has a very popular attraction for kids where a virtual underwater sea turtle talks to the kids and answers their questions as if he was real, and he looked real at that. I saw it on the Travel channel.

What's the difference from the idea of a virtual Elvis image talkin to folks today and usin Elvis on a big video screen performin concerts today?

To criticize the virtual image idea and not the virtual concert is straight up hypocritical to do.

And for the record.....Jay didn't start nor reply to this post, so far, LMBAO.

Here's an article about Sillerman plannin to use modern day technology to make it as if Elvis is still alive.

So maybe this idea I mentioned is part of his plan. It sounds like it anyways.

It's kinda old, back in August, but it's news to me as far as what's bein planned.

Aug. 13--Earlier this year on the hit television show "American Idol," a young, tanned Elvis Presley walked onto the stage and performed a roughly three-minute duet with Celine Dion.

The stunning performance, which left viewers across the world asking "How did they do that?" could be routine once Robert F.X. Sillerman is finished recreating Graceland.

"People will actually think Elvis is there," said Sillerman, chief executive of Graceland parent corporation CKX Inc. "It's going to be 'Oh, wow,' I can tell you that."

While the thought of being able to see a lifelike Elvis perform may seem remarkable, Elvis Presley Enterprises officials said that is just the tip of the Graceland redevelopment iceberg.

"I can't ever remember a Bob Sillerman idea getting smaller," said EPE president and CEO Jack Soden. "His ideas always get bigger."...
