Oh, you are so right, Rosanne... I totally agree with you.I also wish that he were still with us, but I know that I will never be able to imagine him as an old man. I tried to imagine him as a 72 year old man many times, but it is hopeless... He will always be young and beautiful, that is the truth, as those people said when he died and as he sang in that beautiful song in 'Jailhouse Rock'. That song really sounds for me like he sang about himself. Of course he couldn't know than (when he played that role in that movie), what will happen to him in the future, it is so strange. I think the best period of his life was between 1968 and 1970. Anyway that picture is bizarrrrrrrrrrrrrrre for me.

I guess everybody wished that Elvis still would be with us, but somehow I can't imagine Elvis as an older man. He had troubles excepting that he had reached the age of 40, so he surely would have had a rough time being 70. He surely wouldn't have deserved to be called: singing grandpa, like people called Frank Sinatra, because he sang at an older age. I guess that people don't take older singers serious, they mostly have to move for younger once.
By the way I can't help laughing seeing the older pic of Elvis. Although it's a nice pic. I think that he looks a bit like Ronald Reagan to me.

I sure wish he were still around too but that photo just doesn't look right to me as to how he would have aged.

alltouh the picture looks more like a >75 year old Elvis, it's still a fantastic job. You'd really think that was a senior version of Elvis (without having had any plastic surgery).
I doubt that Elvis would age naturally though![]()

I agree with you Betti.I also tried to imagine Elvis as a 72 year-old man,but I just can't!He will always be remembered as "Young And Beautiful" and that's how I want to remember him,the way he looked in 1968-1970,because it hurts me too much to watch him in the later years,I don't want to remember him being so ill....But the pic looks really good, that's how he would propobly look,if he were still with us,which I sooo wish that he was!
Geniuses don't seem to live long either and Elvis was definitely one in music. And there was an awful lot of good in Elvis that you don't see in most people.

Maybe his carrer would be like Tony Bennett. (not in style) but in regaurd to the respect that he has from his peers. I think Elvis would still be singing and doing it well.
I think he'd look **** fine too.
He would have had so much to give still... For us with his music, and for his daughter and grandchildren. He is truly missed...
