Need help in identifying fellows in this photo

Thanks Getlo, I have that picture in black and white that I printed out quite a while ago and always wondered who the other boys were. Elvis looks to be about 15.

That picture is in the book "Elvis Up Close" and a couple of those guys gave interviews for the book.

No....Elvis is in the stone colored khaki's.

Thanks for that; I thought that as well; guess that dispells the myth that I read somewhere that Elvis only wore jeans in his youth

Bearing in mind the pic is colourised, Elvis' pants could actually have been one of several light colours.

someone posted another younger pic like this of Elvis on the same group - and he is with another young fellow in cowboy outfits. I am wondering if it's the same young man fartherest to the right? I'll have to copy/paste that pic as well. Looks to be the same time frame.

The boy with Elvis in the pic you mention is his cousin Gene Smith at the Mid South Fair in Memphis in 1953.
