Ronnie Milsap

I`ve been listening to quite a bit of the music of Ronnie Milsap lately over on youtube and I`ve got a question that needs answering.... On various places around the internet he is credited with working on at least two songs with Elvis at American Sound Studios..the songs being "Kentucky Rain" and "Don`t cry daddy".. what I want to know is what exactly his involvement was?...Did he play piano? Was he in on the vocal harmonies?....Love to know for sure, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've also heard him say he did play piano on Kentucky Rain
