It is taken in the meditation garden. It's just that statue as far as I can recollect is not in the meditation garden anymore.

What was Elvis thinking by letting Linda go? He probably still would've been living if she was with him. She would've never had gone to bed once he left her sight.

here you see the statue in Meditation garden

It's hard NOT to imagine Elvis as perfect; how else could someone be THAT good looking, THAT talented, THAT generous & THAT charismatic

    Linda left Elvis.

Linda saved Elvis's life on more than one occasion.

It's not fair to say he would still be alive had Linda been with him. Besides why should anyone have to babysit a 42 year old man like that.

He would have at least survived August 16th, 1977 had she been there I think ...

Yes it is fair to say that Linda would have noticed he wasnt back in bed and probabaly she would have heard him when he fell to the ground.

    Yeah.

Which is not to imply that Ginger was neglectful or to blame in any way for Elvis' death.

I don't think that's true, the period of Linda and Elvis we can clearly see hw Elvis changed...he became less healthier, and that's not to blame Linda, but only Elvis. What I'm trying to point out,is that some say it's Ginger's fault he died, but wehn she and Elvis got together he was already in a not healthy stadium.Linda couldn't get him off the drugs, neither did Ginger, and maybe she was more checking on him,but come on!!He wasn't a child and the times she saved his life,he was almost dead because he didn't react anymore when he ate somthing and almost stitch..on August 16 he died of a heartattack...there is nothing you can do about, only be more alerter, but then again,he was no child.
I'd like to go to Graceland
    Memphis,Tennessee

To the member who inquired if these pics are from the 70's, yes they are.

I don't think it's there anymore Stryx, I don't remember seeing it. I think it was moved to another part of the Garden...I will have to relook though.

I am going to order this book after I receive Jeanne Lamay's to make sure that there aren't the same photos in both books.
