This thread was only started as another lame attempt by Jay to prove to the entire Elvis world that he dated black women. Who cares? This has been an obsession of his for years, and it never turns out pleasantly.

Jay and Lakeisha even went to the ends of the earth to prove Myrna had an intimate relationship with Elvis EVEN AFTER SHE SAID IN AN INTERVIEW THAT THEY HAD NOT. When they are called out on these subjects, their only out is to resort to calling people racist and that we are "showing our true colors".

who else Jen? he privately sent threatening messages to others over this. He was very nasty and instigating and when others disagreed with him, he got worse. We tried telling him what was in jerry's book - but he pretty much called us liars. Is that right for him to do?

Disagreeing is one thing -but being nasty, and then threatening is totally another. (sorry we disagree on this point Jen...nothing personal you know, right?)

Ordinarily Kelly I would agree with you on Jerry being wrong about his wedding date (the man thing ) but not in this case because it takes a while to write a book and I'm sure he talked about it with others and if he hadn't caught his own mistake, someone else may have pointed it out to him. I could still be wrong lol.

yes Diane, I was just making a joke.....I really don't know which is correct - is there a marriage certificate one can look up? Im sure alot of research was done on Jerry's book - so you'd think it was correct.

I got the idea also Diane that this book was very professionally done. I'm pretty sure also that the publisher sent him out on some sort of a book tour, so that makes me think they would have caught something like that if it were not true.

sometimes Jen, when the others are being nasty and hateful and calling you an outright liar and/or racist - you have to take up for yourself. I always try and watch what I say - but sometimes the others involved in that particular thread make it hard to do so. But I completely agree bickering needs to stop.

Yep, you are right. In our quest for proving our points - we keep on and on and it gets worse and worse. So you are right. No matter who is "right" or "wrong" at some point, we need to pull back before it gets too ugly.
