    John Wilkinson in hospital.

    John Wilkinson has been taken to the hospital, where doctors performed surgery.

    John had complaints about heavy pains in his stomach, and the doctors advised him to have an operation. John is OK now, but it will take at least three weeks before he can leave the hospital.

    I'm not too far from there . Is he the one that had a stroke awhile back ?

    He was a great musician and I`ve always had a lot of respect for him,I hope everything works out okay for him.Best wishes to ya John.

    update

    Good news! Our dear friend-of-the-family John Wilkinson is doing much better.

    He has been walking a little, and the doctors are pleased with his progress.

    He will stay for probably another 2 weeks at the hospital, until he feels ready to go home again.

    I thought of calling but figured they wouldn't tell me a thing.
