A MEMPHIS CITY TOUR WITH A DIFFERENCE

Christmas is certainly in the air, and fans are beginning to look forward to their annual Birthday Week journey to Memphis. If you’re planning on being there, we have some exciting news.
Due to the success of our city tour in August, Essential Elvis is planning another all-day tour of the city. Bigger and better than anything offered before, we aim to show fans a huge number of Elvis-related sights in and around the city of Memphis - and all in the comfort of a luxury coach.
In August, a hundred excited fans were shown a total of eighty Elvis-related places (the general fan club / package holiday will offer around twenty) over a period of 8 hours. Instead of disinterested holiday reps, your tour is organised and conducted by Elvis historians who provide expert commentary along the way. You’ll enjoy accurate facts and stories by experts.
Our tour will begin at Elvis’ Circle G Ranch in Mississippi, and progress towards downtown Memphis. We have enlisted the help of a surprise guest, who will be coming along for the ride. This person was a personal friend of Elvis’ and rode around the city with him over many years in the 1970s. So, we guarantee some first-hand tales of life with the King - making this particular tour very unique.
The tour is on January 8th and will leave from the Graceland area once the ceremony on the lawn has finished. Cost is just £35.00 ($70.00) per person. If our great tour isn’t enough, we are also planning a wonderful party to commemorate what would’ve been Elvis’ 73rd birthday, and the venue is as exciting as what’s on offer. Join us at Vernon Presley’s former home on Dolan Drive, just yards from Graceland, to enjoy some great music and delicious birthday cake. You’ll also be able to mingle with Elvis’ friends, associates and colleagues. We are currently finalising details with some very exciting guests. Tickets (in advance only) are just £15.00 ($30.00) per person.

Just wondering, do you have a list of all the stops?
I'm not sure it'd be sensible to attempt to list all the places we ain to visit, simply because if we don't manage to get to them all, we could be opening ourselves up to complaints. The idea, as it was in August, is to get to as many places as possible. The tour coinsides with my latest book, Follow Me To Tennessee, which is a guide to the Elvis hangouts in Memphis. The book has 125 places, we got to see 80 of them in August. It's really a case of getting to as many as possible.
