Thread: Here's a thought?????????

    Here's a thought?????????

Lisa addressed the empty spot at the gravesite's next to her "grandma" referring to Dodger (Minnie Mae), I am wondering if Pris will request to be buried there?
God I hope not, but I can just see Pris doing something like that to ensure everlasting connection to "Presley" and her role at Graceland, etc...

What do you guys think? Not to start anything heated, just curious what other fans thought.

I've thought of that. When you think of it, where else could she go? Hey what do Scientologist think happens to the soul? Oh that is a whole different subject and we'll be off topic. But since she never actually remarried and Lisa owns the land, I'm guessing that is where she think she belongs. I mean, really she is in fantacy land thinking she never divorced him and all.

Apologies folks, taking a stroll down a side road for a few seconds, lol, Scientology teaches that the soul goes on in the universe and that we have to make the world a better place now for when we return later, etc...

    Operating Thetan

By "operating" is meant "able to act and handle things" and by "thetan" is meant the spiritual being that is the basic self. "Theta" is Greek for thought or life or the spirit. An Operating Thetan then is one who can handle things without having to use a body of physical means. Basically one is oneself, can handle things and exist without physical support and assistance. It doesn't mean one becomes God. It means one becomes wholly oneself.

    K, nuff w/that....

She could be buried in L.A. maybe in a Beaulieu family plot? Yes Lisa owns the land but I think Pris thinks she does as well, I don't know if Lisa plans on it being her final resting place, that must be very creepy seeing that empty spot and thinking about it...she once said (jokingly) that she should have her head put in a jar and placed in the living room to have more visitors, or something like that, so I think she does think about the grave area, as for Pris, I seriously hope not, unless they plan on expanding the section???????

I think she knows full well she divorced him, she is just as of late choosing to ignore that because she likes the title of "widow" a lot more, suits her financial plans. LOL

Will if Lisa says so. It was a tourist attraction when Elvis was buried there, not to degree it is now, but fans always were at Graceland's gates...it was tourist place when Vernon was buried there and tourst place when Minnie Mae was buried there (the latter two, Meditation Garden was open for visitors).

Now that Graceland is an officially-recognised historical attraction, it is no longer legally possible to bury anyone (else) there.

Lisa will never be buried at Graceland.

    And nor will anyone else.

Really? Is that a stipulation of the Historical society? I don't remember reading that, interesting, even though she is the owner of said property?

no obsession, where are you getting that anyone is "obsessed"? Too funny, and this topic is about Pris...sorry to burst any bubbles on the Lisa train of thought.

Mind you, I'm asking respectfully - you seem to adore Lisa (and mention her very often, thus the "obsession" question) and bashing Priscilla every chance you get.

...before I get flamed, I neither like them nor dislike them

don't see any obsession with Lisa here at all.

    we do like her tough
It's hard NOT to imagine Elvis as perfect; how else could someone be THAT good looking, THAT talented, THAT generous & THAT charismatic

I think I would hurl if that happened...that'd be one of the biggest jokes. As far as using Elvis for his money, I put her right below The Colonel

I think that I've stated my reason's for my thoughts in previous posts (if you have the time to browse thru sufficiently to where I don't feel I need to rehash it....I am not alone in my thinking so kindly refrain from singling me out. Thank you.

No Riley, no obsession whatsover and I find it quite comical that some may see it that way, she is referenced in the context that she is his daughter, heir, owner of Graceland and it's property, mother to his grandchildren, a musician in her own right, and someone he adored. How a fan of Elvis is indifferent one way or another I don't understand but then again am not in that person's shoes.

Your not alone in that sentiment.

Oh and I forgot to address, yes I do like Lisa, I found her to be quite a lovely person.

K but I just love it when people hijack a thread and turn it into something it is not lol so back to topic...

Anyone else think of this?.....and I am trying to find out, per Getlo's fascinating post, if in fact it would be against Historical Societies rules to have addt'l. burials at Graceland?

Here's quite a long thread with peoples opinion about what they think of Priscilla being buried at Graceland.

As to the legalties of burying anyone else there ; I have no idea.
I don't think that was in the Historical Society description.
