Well good heavens Gail......are you still into the happy pills and alcohol???

Seriously...How strange is our Texas weather? We don't have snow(but it looks like we could) and we are 4.5 hours due north of you.

We have an expression here in Texas..."don't like the weather? Wait a minute....."

I don't have any snow and I'm in Canada just had a few flurries here and there a few days ago, but it didn't accumulate...That's fine with me!

I'm not familiar with the weather in Texas, is it rare to get snow there?

It depends on which part of Texas Franny. Gail is down around Houston, and it's very very rare to get any there. I'm in NE Texas, but we still don't get much. The only white Christmas that I can remember was December of 1983. Texas is HUGE, so our weather is completely different depending on where you are.

Me too Laura...maybe it will help with my Christmas spirit.

My hubs loves the warm weather and beaches....I love the cold weather and the mountains. If I ever win the lottery I'm buying a 2nd home in Colorado or NW Montana.

Franny...are you in Canada as well? If so, then you can understand when I talk about the size of Texas. Often times there will be lots of snowfall in NW Texas, while down on the coast it's sunny and 75.

Yes, Jen. It is strange! There's no snow on the ground, just a bit of ice because of the rain yesterday, but not much of that either...I hope it stays this way

Yes, I'm in Canada too Rosanne. I wish the weather was as extreme here as it is in Texas lol, but no such luck of having it be sunny and 75d here. It would be nice, though

48 hours ago it was warm and very windy at my house Franny, and today it's 35 degrees with a wind chill of 21 and a chance of snow. BUT.....it's going to be back up into the 60's by the weekend!

I'm packing...I'm on my way! Someone needs to be there anyway to defend poor Butterball from the mad woman with the hairdryer.
