It's hard to tell w/this because his voice is muted. But no in parts the infliction doesn't sound like him and his Southern drawl is more pronounced.

I just listened to this phone conversation supposedly between Red and Elvis and agree with Getlo, something about the voice doesn't sound like Elvis but what I don't understand is why would Red fake a phone call like this?

I don't think Red faked it, I think maybe he was duped? But again it's hard to make out the voice in the audio though I to say it doesn't sound like Elvis, my prev. post, lol....to me in parts it sounds like Vernon.
Also I found it odd that when discussing Elvis Red says "he" as in speaking about Elvis to this individual?
