I feel she has some "inborn" traits, some of his looks, the need to express herself through music, but in so many other ways she seems so not like him at all.

I LOVE Lisa, Lisa is so much more her daddy's girl then she lets thru in interviews etc...MUCH MUCH MUCH more so, and yet she also has this unique quality that is all Lisa...but there is no mistake which genes she's picked up, both in looks, humor, mood, heart, etc...she is very very affectionate, quick to touch and hug, she thinks nothing of throwing her arm around someone, or hugging their waiste, or leaning in to whisper something to them or laugh...
She quite surprised me.
She is a tiny little bundle of beauty, looks much more like him in person then one would imagine.
Lisa looks so very much like her father . In many ways, she reminds me of him too. In other ways; more like her mother . I guess that's pretty well expected for her to have traits of both.
Another "good" thing her mother did, IMO was to keep her out of the public eye for so long. She could make her own mistakes without the press making things up. She seems able to take care of herself, though easily hurt .

I do have to say though that she does have that wall of protection she throws up and can go on guard right quick, like Pris does, and she can be reserved in unknown situations.

Well one thing I think is that Lisa never wanted to be a star, I don't think her father did either even though he became so popular. Lisa seems to be doing her own thing. Pricilla on the other hand, is all about stardom, fame and such.
I disagree, I think Elvis wanted fame and really liked it - I recall reading when Lisa was going to sleep she asked Elvis something along the lines of whether everyone in the world knew him, and he answered yes with a grin (meaning that he was proud of being a well known celebrity), and she then asked whether everyone in the world knew her too, and he answered with an even bigger grin, yes.
I also disagree about Priscilla being about stardom and fame, just my opinion though

I think Elvis just wanted to make music.
I don't believe he had any idea what he was getting into.
Later in life; I think he didn't like it at all...

I think what Elvis thought of as "fame" was simply to take care of his parents financially so they wouldn't have to struggle anymore. Beyond that, I don't think he wanted or even dreamed of what he ended up with.
I find that Lisa favors her dad in looks, temperament and emotions. The only thing I see that she gets from her mom is that little nose rubbing gesture.

Every now and then certain years in some pictures Jen, I also see a glimpse of Priscilla in her but just a glimpse.

indeed me too I see glimpses of Priscilla in her too but Elvis genes definately were the strongest ones

I guess the men genes are stronger somtimes, my son a spitting image to his father and me very little.
can be but I think it is a 50/50chance for a baby to look like one of the parents.
My daughters both look a lot like me and I don't see hardly anything about them which is their dad's...

I think she looks like Elvis quite a lot. Now and again, i see Cilla, but she is more like her father. Around the eyes, and mouth.
Yep Lisa does take after her father and l can see why lisa likes to hug and such cause her father was like that with anyone even if he didn't know you.
