    elvis presents

i just got some birthday money, i was cruising through epe's shop and - well, i need some opinions [and hopefully a bit of a review on why?]

    In a Private Moment ----or
    It's Midnight? -----or
All Shook up ,[ but only because i want the laughing version of AYLT.]

right now i can only have one - so help me out ya'll.
All I wanted was a white knight with a good heart, soft touch, fast horse

Of the three, I'd suggest All Shook Up - it's a great show and Elvis is undeniably at his best.

It's Midnight is nothing special. A reasonably decent collection of '74 live stuff, but nothing to write home about.

Private Moment is really specialist listening only. The sound isn't all that great, and it's really just private stuff of Elvis and friends jamming on not-always interesting songs. Worth a listen, but it's not on high rotation at my place.

So go for All Shook Up, I'd suggest.

I'd certainly go with what Getlo says - he knows his stuff!

I`d go for " All shook up " as well, it`s a great and funny show at the same time.

"It`s midnight" is okay too and if you like Elvis telling a good story or two that`ll make you smile, you`ll have it here too.

In a private moment is exately what Getlo said.

I know less than Stephen Hawking and more than Paris Hilton.

    But thank you.

thanks to those who answered me!
actually i only considered In a Private moment because most of the songs were off the track. and it had Beyond the Reef. I'm still fascinated with that song. i started a thread about it, but apparently most people are as clueles [no offense!] about it as i am. i guess it was just a song that they were jammin' too while ssitting in the Jungle room! i was surprised to find out that Red was singing lead - Elvis' voice is so strong in it but he no doubt just sings better than red.
i wish epe had a sampler media player on all the songs like amazon does.
