I would go for the 50's when his voice was raw, basic and original with no enhancement. I believe the early years of his singing career in the 50's sincerely represent the true Elvis Presley singing his way to stardom via his unique style.
In the 60 70 only it is necessary to listen to songs as If I Can Dream; Hurts; And many more his voice in impressive Elvis to have a great potential.

Definitly the sound of TTWII his voice was at the peak of his talent anc possibilities. Warm, deep and so sweet. Mary in the Morning is my favorite of all.
I preferer in '70s because him voice is more strong and sensual hoarse.
I like all his voices . but I choose from the 50´s because he had such a wonderful and romantic voice that time![]()

I say the 1970's. I'd just like to reference "Separate Ways", "For the Good Times" and "Funny how time slips away".
