    70's backing vocals/band fashion disasters

Whilst Elvis nearly always looked great on stage in the 70's, his backing singers didn't always get the greatest stage clothes. I've seen some really terrible costumes and would love to see a collection of the worst offenders.

Does anyone have pics of backing vocal/band fashion disasters to post here?

They were beautiful... I think. But the most important were their voices...

I frankly think someone should've given Shaun (Sherrill) Neilsen fashion lessons...some of those stage outfits he wore were pretty hideous...

Yup Tony, the others weren't too bad but Nielson's were atrocious. I imagine the Colonel had something to do with the backup groups to be subdued in comparison to Elvis. Same as having the lights down low and concentrated solely on Elvis.

On the whole the backing guys looked ok, there were several different coloured suits which all look the same in design, however I have to agree about Sherrill Neilsen.... yuk

He has a beautifull voice, but some of the outfits worn on stage was not so beautifull!
