That is amazing picture quality Albert. You would think that it was just made recently the quality is so stunning.
Thats the best way to do it is High Definition quality!!
And thank you for posting those stunning shots![]()
I have a 1080p full HD television (42"= 107cm), so I like to watch movies of high picture quality. I knew a HD version of Viva Las Vegas existed, but I never saw it.
Today I watched the movie in HD. Wow! Amazing! I'd never thought this was possible with a movie from 43 years ago.
Check out these screenshots I made. I have uploaded more in the Viva Las Vegas gallery

That's really clear for a movie 40 years old!

I got the dvd of AFH, and it looks like it's in HD. Crystal clear picture.
At least on my HDTV it do.
nice photo quality! Thanks Albert. I'm suprised the MM wasn't any extra's in the audience shot - they are usually placed throughout as extras.

btw, are all Elvis movies released in HD format?
No, sadly only Jailhouse Rock and Viva Las Vegas are released in the HD format (Blu-Ray to be exact).
Does anyone however recall the chat transcript with some executive (or at least a senior staff member) of Warner Bros (I think it was) who said that Elvis fans were in for a treat and would be really, really, really happy with the then upcoming dvd releases?
