    A day with Elvis

You get to spend one day with him. What would you like to do. I'd like to sit and have a meal. This would involve southern comfort food of course. I love it! Then chatting and a little jammin. (inpromtu singing and playing)

Me too Missy, that sounds really good....but not too many people around because I'd love to hear from just him about what makes him happy and what his thoughts are on things in the world.

    Nice thread Missy!!

Jammin would be great-although I don't know if I'd have the guts to sing and play in front of someone as talented as he was. Barbecue would certainly be on the menu.

I would like to hang out and chat about this and that, and really get to know what kind of men he turly was all about.

I would sit down with him and talk about life, music, etc. The good things, bad things. Then I'll ask him why do you seem so unhappy? Then I would ask him about how he felt about his career. What would you like to do?
"When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was a hero in the movie. So every dream that I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times. I learned very early in life that without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend; without a song. So I keep singing a song." - Elvis Presley

    I'd race him! lol

(Oh, I forgot to mention on the horse )

P.S. Oh heck, my horse still has a cough with this silly virus, oh well, we'd just have to have a natter, and just a little peck on the cheek (or two, only if he wanted to).

I'd like to take a ride with him on his motorcycle lol. And go somewhere and eat pancakes

And of course, go back in Graceland and talk(I'll let him talk lol) and maybe sing and play on the piano (I'll let him do that too lol )

I also would like to hang around with him and just talk...
It's hard NOT to imagine Elvis as perfect; how else could someone be THAT good looking, THAT talented, THAT generous & THAT charismatic

I'd just like to spend the whole day with him. Talking about life in general.
I'd like to hear his concerns and what Life ,means to him.
Enjoy getting with friends for these type of discussions,
Of course I wouldn't get mad if he wanted to sing a bit too.

I'd like to experience what Elvis would actually do in a day. Do everything he would do. Just to see what he is really like.

I'd like to talk and talk and talk all day long. I'm sure it would be interesting hear his say on things.

I would love to talk to him about his feelings about everything, eat dinner with him,
sleep next to him and hold him tight that would be a dream come true.

well IDEALLY - i'd love to chat with him, eat with him, listen to him sing or play an instrument etc

REALISTCIALLY - i'd faint for a good 20 hours of that day, then wake up and be so overcome by what i was seeing i would drool a little and have a glazed over expression in my eyes, then most likely he'd run away.

besides just "sit around and look at" him? southerners just sit around and eat. cook more and eat more. send food home with whoever leaves early. my uncles will
bar-b-que and keep the fire going for whoever comes late and brings meat to cook.
so definitely do some cooking and eating, and then of course the guitars will come out and the playing and singing will start. well not me singing, cause i sing horribly and i know he wouldn't like that, and in the evening the i'm sure Elvis will want to
shoot off some fireworks. so a trip to the fireworks stand is in order, too.
hmm! almost sounds like a typical Elvis day. so, yea, i'd like to spend a typical day with Elvis, only this day needs to stretch out into days with Elvis!
All I wanted was a white knight with a good heart, soft touch, fast horse

I would love to invite him over for a family home cooked dinner and sit and chat and listen....

I think I'd love to talk with him about anything, spend the day with him at Graceland and let him show me his home Of course I'd also LOVE to hear him sing and play an instrument. But I would just go where he would go, just to see what he would usually do on a usual day
What a shame this will never happen

Lordy, Lordy what on earth is wrong with you ladies? I'll be honest....1st thing we would do is get down to some real business, and then we would have the rest of the day to all the talking.
