Joey Bishop, RIP (better late than never!)

I'm very surprised this wasn't mentioned during my absence!

Joey Bishop, the last of Frannk Sinatra's Rat Pack, dead at 89.

He appeared with Frank and Elvis on the Welcome Home Elvis show in 1960.

Supposedly Joey wanted Elvis to guest on his late night talk show in 69. The story goes he called the Col. and wanted to know how much it would cost to get Elvis for 15 minutes,
Parker said "Nothing"
Bishop said "Nothing?"
Parker said "To walk on for 15 minutes its nothing-but at the end of the 15 minutes it will be $25,000 to walk off"
Bishop told him that kind of money was not in his shows budget and that was the end of that.
I always liked Joey, he was quick on his talk show-Regis Philbin learned much from Joey Bishop.
