    Does anyone know

I'm well aware that Pricilla's common law husband had to sign a confedentiality agreement. Do those continue after someone dies. Will he be able to write or say anything if she goes before him?
I read a bit from Mike Edwards book when I was at the library. I found it disgusting and vulgar. But not unexpected. But curiousity had me wondering how much was true???

And isn't it ironic that we hardly see much of Gerbaldi. He just fades into the background. You know, like Pricilla was so afraid as her fate with Elvis. Ahh things that make you go hmmm????

that's why he finally left her in spring 2006 ....

reg. your answer: interesting thought, missym.

especially since she herself did NOT stick to the arrangements being a part of the divorce-agreements, which was not to use the name 'presley' in order to push her 'career'.

as soon as vernon was no longer around .... she started using it!

so if there is justice in the world - it should happen to her as well that agreements get violated and she cannot do anything anymore about it.

i did not read edward's book but maybe i should ... at least he was a lot more handsome than mike stone.

i always wondered what on earth she saw in stone ... he may (MAY!) be a nice guy, but not looking good at all.

    hugs, ellie

I think the Elvis book craze taught many celebrities and public figures to get signed confidentiality agreements from their friends, lovers, ex's and anyone who spends more than a few weeks around them.

said so before ... i wished elvis and / or his advisors (vernon / the colonel) had anticipated his 'MM-buddies' possible loquacity and 'revenge-potential' and had them signed NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) about their life and work with elvis.

would have saved him plenty of sorrow .... and would not have expired after his passing.

problem #1: elvis mixed work / staff and 'friendship' / friends.

problem #2: he probably was unable to anticipate that mean behaviour!

problem #3: vernon was too uneducated to know about 'safety nets' like NDAs (which are common practise in companies and the violation of which can result not only in lawsuits and fines of enormous sums but also in criminal prosecution).

problem #4: the colonel being a savvy businessman probably knew about devices like NDAs etc. .... but cared too little about elvis to take care of such issues.

problem #5: or maybe the colonel DID advise and elvis was too gullible ....

    hugs, ellie

PS for missy M: mike stone in the 70s ...
