I think Elvis was hounded more than any celebrity in the world but he also took it so well.
Thanks for posting this interesting article and video Jen.

On the internet at the moment is a news report of Elvis’ arrival in Huntsville, Alabama May 30, 1975. Two local reporters wanted to film Elvis’ arrival at the airport but Elvis and his group were of course so mart in ducking reporters that they didn’t catch him.
They raced after Elvis’ limo and were able to film him seconds when he went into the Hilton Hotel.
Dick Curtis tells his story about how they were able to film Elvis for a few seconds on his arrival and when Elvis left town after giving his performances they were able to film him when entering his plane.
Dick Curtis welcomes Elvis to Huntsville and Elvis, surrounded by Red West, Joe Esposito and Sheila Ryan! thanks him.
This is really unique footage, never before has any local TV film footage surfaced. Sure, there is the footage of Elvis on Tour arrving at venues, but other than that ‘official footage’ candid Seventies footage filmed professionally was non-existent.
This really gives hope that more footage like this exists. If EPE were to really investigate and go through all those local archives I am sure more footage would pop up.
