I agree with all of you, I enjoyed this show too. I wouldn't mind if they aired it again. My favorite playing Elvis was Kurt Russell but this guy wasn't bad at all.

it was a good show. I was surprise they didn't go another season. He looked like he really got into the role towards the end. I believe it's available on DVD now.

I'm not sure in the other regions but not in North America it isn't , not on official commercial release yet anyway. Its been rumored forever as has the Kurt Russell Elvis movie which Amazon even took orders for back in July but last week they sent me a notice saying its been canceled by the distributor.

If you look there are unofficial versions to be found that people burned from VHS

Oh my gosh!!! I had completely forgotten about this series. I think that I was only about 16 at the time and I thought that Michael St. Gerard was soooo beautiful (but only because he resembled Elvis)

It is a pity it never been shown here in our country. Thanks for sharing.

It was well written and acted. Top notch production, critics loved it-but it did not grab huge ratings.

I haven't seen this for ages. I remember at the time I thought it was great. I was reading a bit about Michael and it said he got to play Elvis twice in films with Heart of Dixie (1989) and Great Balls of Fire! (1989).
I thought this was interesting to know.

Yes, Kurt Russell still did the best Elvis, IMO.
But, this wasn't too bad. Better than Elvis movie with JRM...
I just kept seeing things that could have been better.
The problem of being so book smart {?} about Elvis, I think.

I thought Kurt Russell was great as Elvis, but when I saw the movie again earlier this year, I wasn't crazy about it! Although, it was definitely better than Elvis - the movie with JRM!
