Tonight during the Memphis-Marshall football game, commentator Lou Holtz talked about when he met EP. According to Holtz the meeeting took place in 1973 when he was coach of North Carolina State and they were in Memphis playing in the Liberty Bowl. He said both EP and Priscilla were there.
Now we EP fans know that EP was divorced by this time. It would have been December 1973 since that is when the Liberty bowl game is played yearly. It is possible that she was there picking up Lisa or dropping her off for Christmas. He said EP gave him a personal tour of the downstairs at Graceland and his wife would not let him take his youngest son Skip to meet EP because she wanted him to see the camels at the Memphis Zoo. But his son came on by phone during the game and clarified the story but said that it wasn't camels she wanted her son to see but the tigers. How ironic. The Memphis mascot is a tiger.
