I mean the suit itself
B&K Enterprises is now selling a replica of this suit!!!
If anyone is interested, I made a copy of this suit the other week,
Its not perfect as the studs are slightly bigger (i think) and i had no pattern to go off, only the grainy old photos.

thanks for the kind comments. Who says men can't sew
Im now making a white Conquistador suit/
Those are square (pyramid) studs on the cobweb suit, right? I mean, its kinda hard to tell from the pictures, but it seems that way.
Well...what about this? There's a round-stud version, too, I'd say (unless this is not actually a real Elvis suit...I don't recall where I grabbed this picture from but I'm pretty sure this picture's from Graceland and I think it's probably a real suit):

I love that suit, to me one more beautiful. I don't knew the name until now.
Cobweb suit only has round studs. They don't look that gold anymore because that fades to a dull dark gold metal color over time or when it's washed/dry cleaned.
The photo ccrider posted is from the real suit at Graceland. They had it on display in 2004 in the racquetball court.
I just looked at the photos I have of this suit that I grabbed from the Web, both those that people took at Graceland and those that come from the Tahoe show(s) and on all of them except that close-up I posted the resolution or lighting is such that it's really hard to tell if the studs are round or square. So, yeah, I'd be willing to believe that they're round (just as, of course, I was also willing to believe they're square! can't tell, either way), with some of the 1/2" square pyramid studs along the side of the neck vee.
Someone should tell B&K.![]()

Hmmmm...now I'm thinking that maybe those pyramid studs alongside the chest vee are not pyramid studs at all, but eyelets.
Makes sense, too, 'cos I think every other suit from this period (if I'm not mistaken: knot, checkerboard, remake of the long fringe, and some of the earlier 1970 suits he was still wearing) has 1/4" brass eyelets along that vee, with or without a lace.
The plot thickens. Or maybe it doesn't.
Either way, one can't help but wonder how B&K came up with so flawed a design for recreating a suit that, though rarely photographed before, was openly displayed in public for a while.
EDIT: bleh...sorry...the 1971 checkerboard suit does NOT have eyelets around the vee neck. Still, my thesis stands (unless it doesn't, of course).

This one was alright in my opinion. I am a bigger fan of the heavily studded suits.

Here's a photo of the Cobweb Suit I took at Graceland.

Elvis PRESLEY:The most important, most influential artist of the 20th century. b. 8 Jan 1935, Mississippi, US, d. 16 Aug 1977. He holds, or has held, almost every chart-related record including perhaps the most important: more No.1s than any act in chart history.
I Hate Spiders Also, but now I do Like that Web on Elvis' Suit!

I ain't no saint but I've tried to never to do anything, that would hurt my family or offend God Elvis Aaron Presley!
The ones on the chest are eyelets. Originally meant to put laces through. The same way as on the two 1970 "Fringe Suits", the 1970 and 1971 "Wing Suits" and the 1970 "Lace Suit". The nails on the suit are round, slightly cone shaped.
