Thread: Do you like Elvis with his long sideburns or not?

  1. #1

Exclamation Do you like Elvis with his long sideburns or not?

Sideburns is one of Elvis trademarks. Do you like him with his thick long sideburns or his post army look? You just could not imagine Elvis without his sideburns. It seems those sideburns becomes an identifying feature for him and even when he return to public performances he grew them back more thicker and prominent. He simply looks great with those sideburns

I like either, i mean, i love this look :

But, i sure love the army hairstyle:

So it's hard : But i love both ! Because either, they suit him.

me too Danielle, nice pics!!! he is so handsome in that first one. If he has sideburns I like it in the 1st pic - but not necessarily the long hair AND the sideburns as in his later years......know what I mean? What a hunk!

I also liked his sideburns as he had them in Danielle's first picture, in fact I liked his hair best at that time too. Later on, I also feel that his hair was a bit too full and the sideburns were a little too bushy.

I think he looked great always even at the end, but I think he looked his best between 1968 and 1971.

Glad you liked them. I know what you mean, the long hair and the sideburns weren't very flattering on him. I prefer him the first one than to both the long hair a big sideburns !

The only time I didn't like seeing sideburns on Elvis was during certain parts of 1976 when they were especially way too long......and the "bowl" or "Moe Howard" haircut that he had during some parts of 1976 weren't good-looking on him, either......

okay guys, those pictures you all posted are wonderful! So...hope you don't mind that I saved them....I have so many pics...I love looking at them.....

Like some people have said, he looked good without them too. So here's some with him with no sideburns !

But Elvis would have looked good with a big curly wig on.

Like Marija said, his side burns were his own style

    trudy loves elvis sideburns

I think Elvis sideburns were perfect in late 60's early 70's. In fact that was when he looked his best. gorgeous of course!!!!!!!

I liked Elvis with sideburns, but sometimes the long ones' were too long!

His faced looked better with shorter sideburns, but he always looked great to me!

I was twelve when I first saw a picture of Elvis and grew up thinking that any guy that didn't have them was just plain blaaaah.
