i agree with both of you above! some were REALLY good, others were appalling .. the last 2 who sung My Way were great! and Lee M King and Kjell were great too!! the first round i'd have liked to see the irishman go through as he sung "love me tender" awesomely!

most of them were not that good and i didn't like Suzie Quattros judging personally, she just went for the best looking i think ...

Out of curiousity i did watch this. I thought the programme itself was put together in all good taste. Nice footage in between the catagories - just to show you who the real Elvis is!
Having said that i'm not one for impersonators at all. I lost count of the times i said "omg" or "oh dear no!" I just about stomached the first half, but as for the jumpsuit eras, it was very painfull to watch! Not much in the way of looks or talent in my oppinion. I do know who wins this, and it came as no surprize either, i do think the winner does have an unfare advantage to all the rest of the guys - having said that, there will only ever be one Elvis Presley. He is and always will be our greatest Elvis.

I loved the show...BUT..The people they chose, weren't that great, some were (Shawn Klush), but they could have picked better..

I thought the begining was embarrasing where all the impersonaters were singing. and what was vernon saying? elvi? what was all that about it was a bit disresppectful to elvis memory and joe should have told him not to say that. i just think if you are going to do a show about elvis please ,make the effort to at least present it and host it more respectfully. just my rant on it.

I have to say I was disappointed in this show. However saying that, I did think the Irish one was good enough and he didn't even get picked.

i watched this last night and i have to say that these people how ever sincere in what they are doing i think some of them are, was and is the reason some or should i say most of the people who arent willing to listen to the man himself ridacule and abuse or take the micky out of elvis and us die hard fans,some of the facial expressions and movements were so over the top and riduculous and as elaine has said earlier i found my self just ashamed that these people do what they do the only ones who seemed to be ok and i say that as just ok was the irish guy singing love me tender lee memphis king and of course shawn klush as i think personally this programme was made for him and he will win it i would be suprised if he dosent having just winning the world title in memphis which i also found silly,i also think some of us fans have to take some blame as well if some of us didnt encourage these people then the wouldent do it i mean no disrespect to ETA's just that i think they make it hard for elvis fans,i mean how are the public expected to take elvis seriously while watching last nights show?

Let us face it, ETA's is a two bladed thing for Elvis memory. The good part is they help keep the memory alive and well and the bad one is a lot of them are clowns and indeed a disgrace to Elvis memory. If you study and evaluate the general behavior of most ETA's you will notice they tend to overdo things on their futile effort to duplicate every move of Elvis and even habits. Some of them seems to live in the world of fantasy believing they are Elvis. In fairness to them, there are some who should earn admiration and respect for their effort and dedication. Whether we like it or not ETA's are here to stay

When I wrote my last comment, I hadn't watched the second half of the show, lol. I had to tape it so I watched it tonight and I thought it was better than the first bit. I thought Lee Memphis and Shaun (the last guy who won) were good.
