Do You Think if Elvis had lived...

He would be using the internet?
Would he be chatting with fans annon.?
What would he think of all this technology? He loved to have the first of everything...

I think he would be doing all of the above, and having a blast.

Well, Suzan I believe he will never find time to tinker with his personal computer and interact with his fans. Perhaps, he will be more busy attending to countless engagements and other commitments. Although, I believe like you that he loves his fans very much he might do the connection by other means. I am also wondering if Elvis had lived today at his age and look, do you think he will still perform in public? Will he be able to sustain the same charisma and magic? My answer is a big YES in a different approach maybe.

I think, he would have slowed down some, gotten rid of those that were toxic to him, gotten his life in order, etc..and I can see him tinker w/a computer, w/the big flat screen in front of him, having fun w/his fans.

I think he always, always, would have had his charm and charisma, that was innate w/him I believe.

I don't think he would be doing shows, as we remember them, but maybe an appearance here and there, possibly gospel shows, etc..

I actually do think he would find the time to go on the internet and chat with fans anonomously. Because if we look back, he used to have cameras at the gates and watch his fans up in his bedroom

My wish would be, if he were still alive, for him to get rid of the wasters around him - in fact keep his friends as friends and not on the payroll and then he would soon see which are the true ones.

I know that would be difficult because he liked his mates working with him as he trusted them - but then we all know what happened ..... ie. the West/Hebler book. Anyway, I could go on ... but I wont.

Yes I think some would change what they said, definately...I don't think I would...I really don't, because I"ve not said anything bad or discussed anything bad, and I think if more people had been honest w/him, well, mute point, we'll never know.

He would have surfed on internet and even have his own web-site where all of the fans can send e-mails lol and sometimes chat with him

I can imagine Graceland lol...plasma TVs everywhere, lap-tops in everyones laps...umm..and...doors with remote controls

I agree it is very fun to imagine and think what would have been.

I like it very much, it was very clear, I actually pictured it in my head, the three tv's would have a huge flat hd tv in it's place, the records would have instead a 500 cd changer, the lights, drapes, doors all remote control, security camera's would be invisible placed in object out of view, shoot even the furniture would have remote control capabilities in the tv room.

I also think he would have had a blast chatting w/the fans, maybe even playing, telling jokes.

I think that either Elvis would have learned computers himself or had someone do it for him....some people just can't learn as well as others....but either way.....I think he would enjoy going online under a fictictious name and seeing what's out there about him....surfing youtube for his videos, etc. His daughter and grandkids would help him out I'm sure on how to use the computer.....lol......great thread, a happy thread.

Interesting thread Suzan and one to really make you wonder.

I think Elvis would have re-done his whole TV room to accommodate all the newest TV screens and equipment that goes with them.

I think he would have gotten a computer and enjoyed some sites - like Riley said, he enjoyed gospel singing, but I kind of doubt he would have gone to the Elvis sites to read or post on the threads because he didn't even like to watch his own movies....could be wrong there, just my opinion. I think some of the MM would have done it though and told him what they thought he would want to know and hidden the negative things said about him like they always did.

but if he were still alive Diane, our threads wouldn't have the subject matter it does at times, ya know? like the death discussions, etc. and even his pill discussions, because if he was still alive hopefully he would have beat that addiction.
