    Elvis cursing on stage

Has anyone heard Elvis before singing American Trioligy on stage at about 71'-72' I think, and just before he sang it, someone said something, and he said F**k you.

Does anyone know, why he said this, and how he could dare to do it? I mean, he's cursing while thousands of people are listening

Yes, this has been discussed before.

You can hear it on the CD Desert Storm. It's from September 1974.

A woman screams, "I love you Elvis". He says, "I love you too".

A man yells, "I hate you Elvis". He says, "F** you!"

This, I believe, has been dissected on other threads. Elvis' medications were clearly at too high a level that night.

I am most interested in why you started this thread??? There is not a Elvis Fan alive that has not heard him curse on stage~~~so it would stand to reason that you have another purpose for starting a thread named " Elvis cursing on stage" Do you care to share the real reason ?????

Dovey, I don't think they had any other intent...alot of people are new on here and just learning more about Elvis as I when I first joined and things I've learned shocked me at first too.....because of those gorgeous rose colored glasses we keep referring to......lol......probably the same with this person too.....

Sorry but I totally agree with Dovey. I think after the Elvis "hygiene" thread and some previous ones there's been more than enough bringing up subjects that are disrespectful to Elvis.

Those of you who enjoy this kind of talk, go ahead but I'm out of it. And it's not a matter of "rose coloured glasses" it's a matter of RESPECT!

Diane, then you aren't interested in the real, human side of Elvis? Only the perfect parts?

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. I do a lot of posting that never makes it to the site; I just delete it first. Wow!

I'm in my 30s so maybe its just when and how I grew up around the guys and all but if someone yells out that at you when you're walking by , that is probably the response you'd get.

I'm definitely not a guy, but I grew up around guys - 4 older brothers & all their friends hanging about, that's a standard response & not always one that's meant to start trouble just the way guys talk to each other.
You men are truly a breed apart, but gotta love ya'll.

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go

    .

I didn't post that thread to disprespect Elvis at ALL, I just wonder why he did it, and if anyone had some answers for it. It just doesn't looked like Elvis, I mean, of course he cursed etc. but to a fan, and public? That just shocked me.

And again, NO disrespect, thank you.

This subject has indeed been covered in-depth, I would kindly ask that before starting new threads that you do a brief search to ensure that such topics haven?t already been discussed within recent weeks or months.Thank youModerating Team
