"In The Ghetto" duet music

I just downloaded the new duet, and wanted to ask if anyone noticed the music track they used? After closely examining the new recording to the originals I realized that they must have recorded a new track for this duet! Hence, the ending w/ choir and all.
If you listen, in spite of Lisa singing with him, it sounds like Elvis' vocals are brand new! Of course, this is not the case, but the way they mixed it is amazing!
So, now I'm wondering, can they do this with more of his music??? With today's technology they can do just about anything. Would you buy it if they made them sound brand new again?
