"When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was a hero in the movie. So every dream that I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times. I learned very early in life that without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend; without a song. So I keep singing a song." - Elvis Presley

I also dug into my "Vegas Elvis" mode earlier and listened to the On Stage cd and Disc 3 of the 2001 BMG box set Live In Las Vegas.

****************, that is some really great music !!!

    I wuz totally into :

    Long Tall Sally
    You Gave Me A Mountain
    Never Been To Spain
    Suspicious Minds
    It's Over
    I Can't Stop Loving You
    ...

    Ok, so that's 7 songs, but I can't help it !!!

Ooh, show & tell! And I'm so glad to know that I'm not tied to these songs, 'cause they will be ever-changing!

#1 In your arms! - it just makes me happy!

    #2 Turn Around - a ballad

When we were kids, mom use to sing us to sleep. This was my good night song. Mr brother's song was Can't Keep my eyes off you. I was screaming like a little girl when I found this one being sung by Elvis that I saved it onto my computer!

#3 Wearing That Loved on Look

All I wanted was a white knight with a good heart, soft touch, fast horse
Ride me off into the sunset Baby, I'm forever yours

Well those are kind of special songs for me, personal ones, but if I can have some 3 bonus songs just for kick those would be:

    Vissie,

These are three of the greatest performances Elvis ever put on record, something fans and critics and non fans agree on. Stop what you are doing right now and go find those songs.

Mystery Train - universally proclaimed as his greatest Sun recording and one of the greatest recordings in rock and roll.

Stranger in My Home Town - one of the highlights of the 1969 American recordings. Get both the master and the alternate take.

Tomorrow is a Long Time - another stand out recording from the mid '60's written by Bob Dylan - who proclaimed it the best cover of one of his songs he had ever heard - Believe it was released on the Spinout soundtrack as a bonus song.

Mystery Train can be found on any of the Sun compilations and Stranger in My Home Town master can be found on any of the 1969 American Sound Studio compilations.

King Creole - give some more specifics on where these great songs can be found.
