I'll bet you're right Alstrada. Lisa did take Oprah for a little walk outside away from the house when she took her to the archive room. Great picture by the way.

I've always assumed the secret room/building is in this video I shot around the 1:23 - 1:40 minute mark. This is part of the Graceland tour. Those trailers have been redone since Elvis lived there and even though they were/are trailers, they could have been easily fireproofed. If it's not in a trailer, there were a few other small buildings (concrete block looking buildings) just behind and to the side before the Wedding Chapel by Elvis' old secret exit.

If you google the Graceland address and choose satellite, you'll see other buildings behind the trailers. It also could be behind Vernon's Office as well..who knows. I find it interesting that the Tour Guide said the trailers were used for "storage". Storage of what???? If they are storing old Elvis artificats or furniture or whatever, wouldn't that give us a clue?? Everyone's guess is as good as mine.

I don't think they would be storing old Elvis artifacts or furniture or whatever in "trailers" on the property. The building is supposed to be earthquake and fireproof. I don't know how you can fireproof and earthquake proof a mobile home.

    Archives/Storage Room at Graceland

    From "New York Times"
Copyright 2007 The New York Times Company

The clothes, mismatched socks included, were photographed, entered into a database and moved to an archive on the grounds of Graceland, its location kept secret to safeguard a collection whose market value is inestimable. ''Elvis tends to do well at auction,'' said Margaret Barrett, head of the popular arts department at Christie's, which sold a single Elvis shirt for $29,000 in 1999. The jumpsuits, Ms. Barrett noted, have fetched as much as $150,000 apiece. ''What people like the best,'' Ms. Barrett said, ''is being able to say that he actually wore this on his body.''

    Archives/Storage Room at Graceland

Lisa Marie and Angie Marchesi, Graceland's archive director, recently led Oprah on a private tour of Graceland. Once they were behind the velvet ropes in the famed residence, they got to see some of the King's preserved possessions and rooms.

Though millions of fans have toured Graceland, no ticket could get you into the last room on the tour?a secret library of Elvis memorabilia. Its very existence is so top secret that The Oprah Show cameras were turned off to protect the location. The room?which houses Elvis's most personal possessions?is fireproof, earthquake-proof and tornado-proof.

Most of the things in this room?which include signed checks, more than 60,000 photographs, his famous sunglasses and 88 jumpsuits?have never even been seen by the public!

Lisa Marie says having all of her dad's things around is comforting. "It's like a little time capsule of the past. Nothing's changed."

A secret room thats pretty far down on a list compared to Secret pain isn't it?

You're sure right about the tabloids JDD. Seems like they are always first on the scene and almost always wrong and always sensationalized.

I really have no idea where the archives are on the property, but wouldn't they be safest underground(?) I know, after growing up in the mid-west, that for something to be tornado proof it was usually a sub-basement underground (also called storm cellars).
