sorry i'm wrong the numbered editions are from 1979, the ones from 87 had a differn't cover.
Hmmm. Wonder why my autographed book by Sean in 1979 doesn't have any number on it, then? That's frustrating.
There were 3 "editions" of The Life of Elvis Presley. The value doesn't change from one to another and they were all released in 1979. I have had two different variations. The one i have now is not numbered.

a reprint was done in early 87, it was published with a blue leatherette cover, it was called the authors edition., again it was published in low number-500 i believe.
I had one of the original copies but while in Whistler and working out of town someone came in my trailer and took my book!I know who it was but.....
god i can only imagine how pissed i'd be if anything happened to any of my shaver books, i feel for you buddy.
