The Hilton bosses were not the only ones ticked off with Elvis that night, Parker was too.

I wonder if you all know the real true story behind that night of September 3, 1973 Closing Show.
For those who saw the (no good) mini series Elvis back in 2005, it told that Elvis was tired of Colonel Parker at the time of the 68 Special. Well, that is not true what so ever. It didn't happen in 1968, it really happen on September 3, 1973. That was the night Elvis tried to fire Colonel Parker but he couldn't because of the money he owned to the Colonel.
Well, to get even Elvis did the most weirdest show or in the opinion of several fans the most funniest show. Elvis got back at Colonel Parker big time. Colonel Parker always wanted Elvis to never mess up a song on stage. He didn't like that at all. Well, at the same time a person who worked in the Italian Restaurant was going to get fired for some reason. Elvis heard about that as well. Since he was already mad at Parker now he got angry at the Hilton Hotel bosses. So some parts of the story which can't be confirmed as of right now goes that he and the Memphis Mafia thought of ways to get back at all of them at the same time. They came up with several ideas and used some of the ideas. When Elvis was supposed to come walking out on stage he didn't. He was on the back of Lamar Fike and Elvis had a stuffed monkey on his back (represents Colonel Parker). Elvis sung a few songs but messed up some of the lyrics. By the time he got to the medley he just clowned around with the lyrics. Fever he did the same thing. But what really got Parker mad was when Elvis walked out off stage real quick and came back out on a rolling bed to sing What Now My Love. After that the band played Suspicious Minds and Elvis sung Bridge Over Troubled Water. Then he quit and sung Bridge Over Troubled Water the right way but messed up some of the lyrics and even not singing some of the lyrics all together. Suspicious Minds was next and Elvis still wasn't through messing up the lyrics. The rest Elvis didn't mess up lyrics to much until he got to American Trilogy. That ticked off Hilton himself since that was one of his favorite songs. Did Elvis care? Nope. Later Elvis did Mystery Train and Tiger Man and decaded Tiger Man to the man who was going to be fired. Can't Help Falling In Love was next and during that song many of the audience members have told later that Elvis didn't pass out any scarfs during the song. He left the stage by skipping off which many fans to this day didn't know he did. Colonel Parker went to Elvis and told him never to do that again. Well, Elvis didn't but he did make a point and the damaged was done.

As for the worker, from what I have heard he was with Elvis each and every time Elvis came to Vegas. I don't know if he worked at the Hilton or Elvis or something else. But that is what I have heard on Mario.

I know. But some of the stories have said that the higher staff Elvis meant was Mario. I don't know if that is true or not. This info comes from my book.
