Luciano Pavarotti: great funeral for greatest singer ever.

Although I am not a fan of too much intimate display of (celeb)
events that are really private, I must say that the funeral of
the great Luciano Pavarotti brought tears to my eyes.
To hear his unique, superior voice over the sound system in
the church and the piazza..... to hear the guests in the church
and the enormous masses of people outside the church give
the maestro his last applause.... to hear the touching duet
with his, also extremely gifted, father.... to hear "Nessun
Dorma" by Luciano as his casket was carried out of the
    church.....
It all made me, and everybody I know, realize just what an
immensely talented human being is no more. Like one female
opera singer said in her comment: how fortunate to have
all the audio and video material so that we can continue
hearing that magnificent voice for years to come. Sigh.
Rest in peace, Luciano - Maestro.

LOL, I hope I didn't give you the impression that I was
ATTENDING the funeral. I saw the live broadcast on
CNN and BBC World, hence my comments about usually
not being a fan of sharing such a private affair with so
many. But this service was very moving.
