John Lennon sang hound dog on August '72 at Madison Square Garden with his wife Yoko Ono after seeing the Elvis show at MSG the month before. At the the 2:48 mark he says "Elvis I Love ya!!"

The Elephants Memory Band, what bunch of freaks! but I love them, lol, love Lennon too, despite their weird act around that time, I think Lennon's was honest all the way when he said the: Elvis I love you thing, around famous musicians, John was always a true E.P. fan, just like all of us, and that its cool, great guy.
I don't know what Yoko was doing but she would have been better not doing it![]()
ELVIS WILL ALWAYS BE "THE KING"

LETS BE FRIENDS!
I can't like this version of Hound Dog.
I prefer the king himself.
