    if you've skyped me recently

It seems like the number of Skype scam attempts has gotten a little crazy lately, so when I get a Skype from someone I don't know I've been in the habit lately of ignoring or blocking them.

It occurred to me though that I've got my Skype ID listed here so I hope I haven't blocked any TCBers. If you have tried to Skype me and received no reply, please PM me.

This is why I dumped Skype over a year ago and now use Windows Live Messenger (MSN).

Much easier to communicate with, both using the mic and instant message, plus the program doesn't use as many computer resources as Skype does.

Might want to give it a try Bobby....I think you'd like it

I just now noticed this, Steve. Thx for the advice. I would consider using that -- and actually did (MSN Messenger...different from Windows Live?) for a while some months back because of some other people who were on it -- but i hate to have to log into so many IM programs and Skype is what my company uses.

Then there is Trillian and a similar program whose names eludes me that lets you tie all those in together, and that's kinda cool. But it works for everything except Skype.

So I guess I'm probably stuck with AIM and Skype for now.

I looked for this thread because someone just tried to exchange contact info with me through Skype. If it was somebody here, sorry and please let me know.
