night fever in vegas great companion to desert storm

after getting hold of desert storm and loving it, night fever in Vegas was next on my list, 1974 was a great and interesting year my favourite of the seventies with fantastic costumes two piece leather costumes as worn on the night of this concert called the wine glass outfit, Elvis was looking so cool around this time check out the photo with sheila Ryan on the front of the fort Baxter box set a profile vol2 my personal fave Elvis pic. on to the concert cc rider opens up and its a very good version with Elvis on good form, next up is i got a women with a fooling around start when Elvis asks for a saxophone trombone any kind of bone HAMBONE.... which is a funny moment again it cuts the mustard, love me is good with some nice bluesy guitar from jb.onto if you love let me know a superb version, as is it"s midnight, big boss man. fever is done very well with a few words lost or misplaced due to Elvis fooling around but it is still good. all shook up is a throwaway version, next is some dialogue with the crowd which leads into softly as i leave you another nice version not quite as good as desert storm.hound dog is a very good version with elvis joking about his tight suit and one false start but this is a good bluesy version.before the start of american trilogy a girl from the audience shouts i love you Elvis which Elvis responds then a guy shouts i hate you Elvis to which Elvis respond **** YOU much to the approval of the crowd the song is a good version. suspicious minds is next done as a request by Dr nicks son dean in return for some karate lessons, this is one of my fav versions with a great slow section Elvis sings get that hate out of your god**** mind o honey i have never done a thing to you ohh lord no no hmmm.very soulfull with some great piano gospel style fantastic. get the hate out of your god**** mind maybe a reference to the heckler before american trilogy .Elvis talks about karate and introduces the band before a cracking if you talk in your sleep with a extended intro, more chat follows about karate and is very interesting. help me is next and is superb as is let me be there, how great thou art. Elvis performs a beautiful Hawaiian wedding song, you gave me a mountain is done as a request from the crowd and its great on to the closing number can"t help which is again superb with a fantastic ending all in all a fantastic concert one of my personal favorites and great companion for the desert storm concert, this La's Vegas season was brilliant with some shows missed due to Elvis having flue and the drug rumours were flying around at this time but these shows were never less than entertaining MY BOY

    OK, another list:

    01) Las Vegas, 19.08.1974
    released on "From Sunstet Boulevard...."

    02)Richmond, 18.03.1974
released on "Guarranteed To Blow Your Mind"

    03)Las Vegas, 26.01.1974
released on "Something Old, Something New"

released on "Last Tango In Tahoe"

These shows are straight performances, not something of that amok talking guy you could see during the "Elvis Summer Festival" at the Hilton!
